Just as a bit of background information, let me tell you about JW Stannard.

John W. Stannard, the founder of the company, was raised in a family centered on musical instruments. His father was a piano builder and tuner. He began studying music at age four and built his first instrument at age six. Throughout his childhood, he studied music and built guitars with his father. While seeking a more profitable line of instruments to build than guitars, he became involved in percussion instruments. In 1980, John Stannard founded Om Percussion, a company making chimes only for musicians. In 1985, while seeking a broader market for chimes, John Stannard starting selling wind chimes in a kiosk at a local mall. Hence, the JW Stannard Company was started.

JW Stannard is recognized as one of the premier wind chime manufacturers. According to the most recent research, 85% of responding customers bought JW Stannard chimes because of sound quality. However, the beautiful music produced by JW Stannard doesn't happen by accident. Each chime is individually selected for tonal accuracy and assembled by hand to create the melodies and sounds with authenticity. This attention to detail is maintained throughout production to ensure that every set of JW Stannard windchimes will give years of pure sound and beauty. Each design follows this ardouous process prior to it's introduction. This attention to detail is maintained throughout production. JW Stannard allows only the bells that are tuned to stringent standards to become components of their wind chimes. To demonstrate this commitment to quality, each chime is guaranteed for five years.
